Issued for construction: phases and a screen for the shop floor, every nest run kept, and a drawing set you can hand a client.

011.0

Send the job to the floor in phases.

Split a job by room or by cabinet, send one phase to the shop and nest just that phase. A cabinet that has been sent stays put; changing it is a remake.

WoodWright 1.0 Setup, Phases on the Sample Kitchen: phase 1 the three bases, phase 2 the uppers and the tall cabinets, hatched on the phase plan, with Send Phase 2 to the shop
021.0

The shop floor gets its own screen.

Shop mode turns a computer on the floor into each cabinet: where it goes, what it is, how it goes together step by step, and its parts to tick off. Every computer on the job sees the same ticks.

WoodWright 1.0 Shop mode on cabinet 1, a 3 drawer bank: its ends, Built, Finished and Installed, the room from above and wall 1 with the cabinet lit, and its neighbors on either side
031.0

Every nest run is kept.

Open an earlier run, compare two, lock a sheet once it is cut and re-nest only the sheets still open. Each sheet saves as a layered DXF for any CAM.

WoodWright 1.0 Sheets page on the Sample Kitchen: two runs kept (7 sheets at 81.5% and 8 at 71.3%) with Compare, the seven sheets as thumbnails with their yields, the DXF of sheets button, and the first sheet with Lock and Mark cut
041.0

A drawing set, drawn from the model.

Elevations, the floor plan and three typical sections at real scales, a title block on every sheet, and a cover sheet with the boxes a client signs.

The WoodWright drawing set for the Sample Kitchen, 18 sheets: the cover with its sheet index, the approval boxes, the revision table and the title block, issue 1 for approval
051.0

The room checks itself.

Check the room reads every cabinet, door and window and pins what it finds on the drawing. A cabinet placed, pasted or dragged stops at its neighbor or says why it can’t.

The WoodWright floor plan of the Sample Kitchen with the room check open: nothing to flag, 7 cabinets and 2 doorways or windows checked across 4 walls
061.0

Every setting shows what it moves.

Construction settings lead with a sketch of the dimension they control, a live cabinet turns beside them, and the shop’s defaults and this job’s changes sit on two tabs.

WoodWright 1.0 Setup, Construction spec: This job and Shop defaults tabs, face-frame build type, each parameter led by a small sketch of what it controls, and a live 36 inch base turning in 3D
071.0

Metric, start to finish.

A job knows its unit, sizes land on whole millimeters, and there is a metric sample kitchen.

WoodWright 1.0’s metric sample kitchen, wall 1 in elevation: a 3600 mm wall with 450, 900 and 750 mm bases, 750 and 450 mm uppers either side of an 800 mm window, every dimension string in whole millimeters
081.0

Every room keeps its history.

A copy every ten minutes as you work, and one whenever you mark it, kept as a timeline of plans: the last five, then one a day for ten days. Opening an old one never writes over the room you have.

WoodWright 1.0 Earlier versions of Room 1: a timeline of three small plans, the room open now with 9 cabinets, Added the 24 base with 8, and First layout with 7, each with Open a copy

Some cut lists change. Every change is listed.

118 of 202 cabinets in the shop's job files cut the same as on 0.12.0; the release notes list the other 84, and why. Each change is traced to a decision the shop made: 1 1/2 center stiles, one full top on talls, toe skin that turns the corner. Drew a job in 0.12.0 and haven't cut it? Read the list first.
