Your name ships on the card.

Every piece in the library carries its maker's name, on the card and in the catalog, in front of every shop running WoodWright.

Make a range, a faucet, a stool — anything that makes a kitchen render feel lived-in — and it ships credited to you. We review every piece by hand first.

Manufacturer? A spec-accurate model of your own product is the best ad it will ever get: it stands in the room while a shop prices the job.

The format

One .glb file (glTF binary) per asset. Any modeler exports it — Blender free and first-class. Materials embedded; PBR (base color, roughness, metalness); textures inside the GLB, 2K max per map. No extensions the core spec doesn't carry.

The conventions

  • Real-world scale, in millimetres. A 36-inch range is 914 units wide. WoodWright places it against real cabinets — a wrong scale is the first thing a shop sees.
  • +Y up, +Z is the front — the side that faces the room.
  • Origin at the middle of the footprint, y = 0 at the bottom. A floor thing stands on y=0; a wall thing hangs with y=0 at its lowest point.
  • Watertight enough to light — no inverted normals, no z-fighting shells. Keep it under ~150k triangles; most props read perfectly at a tenth of that.
  • Dimensionally true. If it's a real product, match the spec sheet. These stand next to cabinets cut to a 1/32″ grid — close enough isn't.

The license

CC0 or CC-BY 4.0 — your pick, stated on the card and in the catalog forever. Attribution on CC-BY flows to you. No copyleft (CC-BY-SA/GPL): an asset must never encumber the cabinet a shop sells.

By submitting you confirm the work is yours, it isn't lifted from a manufacturer's or another tool's proprietary library, and no agreement bars you from sharing it.

Submitting

Send a note through the support form (pick "library asset") with a link to the .glb — any file share works — plus the real bounding box (W × D × H, mm), where it may stand (floor · counter · wall), your license pick, and the name to credit. We review by hand, run it through the same checksummed pipeline as everything else, and the good ones ship in the next catalog update — with your name on the card.
