Built the way you build it — down to the rail.

This is the face editor on a 30″ double-door base: the pair opening is selected — 25 × 27¼ — and beside it are the controls that make it yours. Split the opening with a rail or a stile; pick the front style (slab, shaker, fluted, custom); set the frame widths — 2″ top, 1¼″ bottom, 3″ left, 2″ right here — and the rail and stile defaults the job carries. Change a number and the parts redraw.

Straight answers

Is this a kitchen planner or a cabinet design tool?
Both, from the same model. You draw the room — walls, soffits, windows, appliances — and place cabinets on the walls in plan. Every cabinet is a real parametric cabinet you can open and edit down to the individual rail, and the same model gives you the elevation and the 3D view.
Can I build cabinets the way MY shop builds them?
That is the point of it. Construction is parametric — 200+ settings for how the case, the face frame, the toe, the back and the joinery are made — and the face editor lets you set every rail and stile individually, to 1/32", with the parts redrawing as you type.
Does it handle corners and islands?
Yes. Corner cabinets, blind corners, islands and peninsulas are built in and fully parametric, and the layout tools snap and size runs against the walls and against each other.
What is the Draftsman?
The optional cloud AI. Give it a measured room and it drafts the layout to about 80% — placing runs, sizing fillers, working around appliances — and flags the calls it will not make for you. It is live, it runs on prepaid credits with a hard stop you set, and the desktop planner works fully without it.
