Is the cutlist generator really free?
Yes. The whole desktop CAD — design, cut lists, nesting, labels, drawings — is free for Windows with no account, no seat count and no trial clock. The only paid part is the optional cloud AI, which runs on prepaid credits.
Do I type the parts in, or does it work them out?
It works them out. You design the cabinet — width, height, depth, construction method, face layout — and every part that design implies is generated: ends, deck, top, back, stretchers, nailers, shelves, drawer boxes, doors and fronts. Change the cabinet and the list changes with it.
What does the cut list actually contain?
Every part with its finished cut size, grouped by material and by cabinet, with the dados, bores and grooves the part carries. Solid-stock members (face-frame rails and stiles) route to a separate lumber chop list rather than being nested onto plywood. Parts carry QR labels you can print and check off on the floor.
Can I get it out of the app?
Yes — the cut list exports as CSV, the sheet layouts beside it export as layered DXF for your CAM, and a job is a plain file on your own disk that opens forever, no login required.
